    • Objectives: The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to improve their participation in the Pre-matric stages and minimize the incidence of drop-out.

    • Benefit: Rs.2655/-
    • Objectives: The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to improve their participation in the Pre-matric stages and minimize the incidence of drop-out.

    • Benefit: Scholarship is variable @ course of study
    • Objectives: The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to scholars for higher studies

    • Benefit: Scholarship is variable @ course of study
    • Objectives: The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to scholars for higher studies
  5. Name of Scholarship/Scheme: Pre-matric OBC Scholarship
    • Category of Applicants: Students of class V to X
    • Benefit: Rs.1500/-
    • Objectives: The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to improve their participation in the Pre-matric stages and minimize the incidence of drop-out.

    • Category of Applicants: Students of class V to XII
    • Benefit : 
      • V & VI-Rs.1200/-
      • VII & VIII-Rs.1500/-
      • IX & X-Rs.1800/-
      • IX to XII Rs.4800/
    • Objectives: The objective of the scheme is to encourage students to perform well in their studies so that they can be inspirations for other students.
  7. Name of Scholarship/Scheme: Caste Certificate
    • Category of Applicants: Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Castes, and Other Backward Classes Persons of West Bengal
    • Benefit: Caste Certificate and Reservation benefit
    • Objectives: Caste certificate is given to persons belonging to SC, ST, and OBC communities so that they can avail of various Govt. run benefits like reservation in Govt. jobs, Educational Institutions, Scholarships, Grants, Social Protection, etc.
  8. Name of Scholarship/Scheme: Sabooj Sathi
    • Category of Applicants: Students studying in classes IX to XII in Government and Government Aided Schools and Madrasahs of the State
    • Benefit: Bi-cycle (One Time)
    • Objectives: The scheme was conceived with the primary objective of enhancing student access to Secondary Education increasing retention in schools, encouraging students to take up higher studies, inculcating a sense of confidence among the girl students by promoting mobility and promotion of environment-friendly and healthy means of transportation.
  9. Name of Scholarship/Scheme: Incentive for Inter-Caste Marriage
    • Category of Applicants: Person belonging to Schedule Caste marring person belonging to General Caste
    • Benefit: Rs. 30,000/-(One Time grant)
    • Objectives: This scheme encourages marriage between scheduled caste and general caste persons in order to decrease the impact of caste discrimination.
  10. Name of Scholarship/Scheme: Old Age Pension
    • Category of Applicants: Senior Citizens belonging to Schedule Trible of BPL Category
    • Benefit: Rs. 1000/- per month
    • Objectives: These schemes give emphasis on the economic support to old-age citizens belonging to Schedule Tribe Community.
  11. Name of Scholarship/Scheme: POA and PCR Act
    • Category of Applicants: Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Castes
    • Benefit: Variable according to Victim
    • Objectives: An Act to prevent the commission of offenses of atrocities against the members of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes, to provide for Special Courts for the trial of such offenses and for the relief and rehabilitation of the victims of such offenses and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
  12. Name of Scholarship/Scheme: Hostels
    • Category of Applicants: Economically poor Scholars belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, and Other Backward Classes of West Bengal
    • Benefit: Rs. 1000/- per month
    • Objectives: These schemes give emphasis on the economic support and boarding facilities to scholars belonging to Schedule Tribe, Schedule Tribe, and Other Backward Classes Welfare community So that their essential education is not hampered.
  13. Name of Scholarship/Scheme: Unclean Occupation
    • Category of Applicants: Students studying in classes I to X in Government and Government Aided Schools and Madrasahs of the State
    • Benefit: RS. 3000/- per annum
    • Objectives: This grant gives emphasis to the children of persons engaged in occupations like manual scavengers, rag-piking, etc so that they can be retained at educational Institutions and not indulge in that kind of work.
