National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS)

In NFBS if the primary earning member of a family dies then the bereaved family receives a lump sum assistance of Rs.40,000.00 but only if the earning member was between 18 to below 60 years of age and Below Poverty Limit. NFBS is also a scheme under NSAP. The total no. of NFBS Beneficiaries in Malda is 1674 for the financial year 2019-20 (till December).
