Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan

It subsumes the three Schemes of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education (TE).

Quality of Education

  • Enhanced focus on improving quality of education by focusing on the two T’s – Teachers and Technology
  • Outcome-oriented allocation of resources.
  • Emphasis on Rashtriya Abhiskar Abhiyan (RAA).
  • The partnership between Schools or the Twining of Schools.
  • Exposure Visit of School Students.

Focus on Digital Education

  • Enhanced use of digital technology in education through smart classrooms, digital boards
  • Strengthening of ICT infrastructure in schools from upper primary to higher secondary level.
